To do the check in was a very long process. A large group arrived and they took a lot of time with each person. We would have liked the staff to be sensitive to the rest of the people in line and offer some help. Or more staff come in to help eith the line. We just had to get our key and had to wait long.

Everything about Madrid is simply fabulous.
Everything about Madrid is simply fabulous. This was my fifth visit and I'd go back tomorrow if I could! Great food and drink options everywhere; glorious museums; fabulous walks through Retiro Park in the late afternoon and along the Grand Via in the early evening. Highly recommend ARTEMSIA restaurant (vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free).

I loved the city.
I loved the city. However, there's not much the city has to offer for travellers. A day to glimpse through should be fine. People have told me that one should do seville instead. Barcelona def don't miss out on though.
The hotel is located at one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in Madrid, Barrio de las letras. It is in the center of Madrid but is not loud at all and not that crowded. You have too many options like bars, supermarkets and beautiful alternative boutiques to shop. The owners of the hotel are so pleasant and helpful, they can give you any info you want about the city. The room is small, convenient, absolutely clean and with all the comforts you need. One of the best accommodation experiences that i would choose again for sure!
One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Clean, beautiful, amazing facilities. Location is good, is in the financial center, close to airport and city center. We arrived in terminal 1, we took bus 200 to get to the hotel. Public transport in Madrid by default costs 1.5 EUR(and you can pay cash inside the bus). In order to get to the center we got the bus 53 infront of Cuco’s restaurant which is super close to the hotel and it was super easy to travel around. Highly recommended. Loved it?
The hotel is modern and elegant and is located in a very nice green area of Madrid. It is not far from the airport ( 15-20 minutes with metro). The nearest metro station is at 10 minutes walking so it’s easy to go to the city centre. Also, there is a large supermarket nearby. The rooms are large and cozy and the bathroom comes with a bathtube and bidet. The wifi connection was very good. As i had to leave early the hotel i could not try the breakfast. I definitely recommend this accomodation.
This is a perfect location, being attached to the Chamartin station. One can get to the airport, to amy point in Madrid, and pretty much any place in Spain by train quite easily from this hotel. The pricing was a good value. The reception allowed me a late checkout, which enabled me a quick shopping trip to El Corte Ingles before heading to the airport. The meal service was a good value and good service. The room and the hotel appeared clean and comfortable.
The Hotel is in the city centre (Chueca) and turned out to be much better than my expectations! Extremely clean and welcoming. People working there reply at whatever time (I arrived after midnight) and are there to solve any problem (I had an issue with noisy neighbours at night and they immediately intervened). Moreover, they were willing to give me information on Madrid and to have a quick talk sometimes to feel more at home 😊
The apartment was clean and comfortable and had was well equipped with regards to the kitchen. the location was fairly good. In Madrid a lot of things are within walking distance so it’s about a 20 minute walk into the city centre. Uber’s are also relatively cheap so we either walked places or got an Uber.
We checked-in at 11:30pm roughly and the process was very simple with clear instructions provided by the hotel.
The hotel had modern style. overall it was very clean. the room was big and spacious. The receptionist was super friendly and helpful. she answered all of our questions and demands. we requested for early check in and they made their best to do it. there is also complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport. even though the hotel is far from the city centre it is close to the metro station and the airport.
Amazing hotel, located very central, close to all things that you can visit in Madrid. Easily reachable by public transport, but you can walk to the city centre and go shopping on Gran Via. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, the bed is awesome! The staff was very polite and helpful, and the breakfast was one of the best ever enjoyed in a hotel. Highly recommended!
We loved the location, and the staff were lovely and so professional. We stayed in Madrid at Gran Hotel Ingles the last night of a week-long trip to Spain for our 20-year anniversary. The staff welcomed us by wishing us happy anniversary, and had a lovely anniversary surprise in our room. So so wonderful and memorable! The breakfast was fabulous too!
The hotel is beautiful. The staff (especially Galo and another staff member I don't recall her name) were awesome. I stayed in 3 hotels during my vacation in Spain. This hotel was the outstanding by far. If I visit Madrid in the future, Sardinero Madrid is where I'll be staying. The location was a 10 minute walk to Puerta del Sol, the center of Spain.
staff helpful booking taxi and loaning an iron etc. Best part very large floor to ceiling windows. I liked the brightness. I stayed in hotels for month and never got used to small windows and shudders in most accommodations in Spain and Greece. I do understand to keep heat out . This by far was my favourite hotel on trip.
free airport shuttle was a bonus and the hotel is only 8 mins walk from the metro station. nice and quiet located at the neighbourhood areas with nice and friendly restaurant around. We stay here as we have 2 days to explore the town before we heading to other city in spain.
Perfect location for what we wanted to do in Madrid. The hotel has a courtesy bus to the Metro station which is a direct line to the city centre but taxis aren't expensive to the nearest Metro. There is large shopping centre and some restaurants within walking distance.
My husband and I came to Spain for our honeymoon and we wanted to stop in Madrid for a few days for the game, as well as, experience the culture/ sightseeing. We were not disappointed whatsoever. Madrid is beautiful and our stay at this hotel was exceptional.
The room was spotless, the bed and linens excellent, the breakfast was the best we had in Spain and the staff were exceptionally helpful. It was the only hotel in Spain that had an iron and ironing board. The location was central.
Close and walkable to a beautiful park and restaurants. We had a short stay as we had been traveling in Spain and had a very early flight back home. Easy complimentary hotel shuttle to the airport.
Amazing location, right in the city centre and value for money this was amazing. Dont get me wrong it is no 5 star hotel but for what it is fo a couple of days to explore madrid it is perfect.
Super nice apartment, clean and modern and well equipped. Excellent location on a quiet street a block from Gran Via. Best place I stayed in the 6 weeks in Spain. Juan was a super host.
Good hotel, in the centre of Madrid, easy to find. 5 min walk from Ciebeles airport bus stop, and outside is the entrance to Gran Via metro. Rooms are ok, clean and tidy.
